Indian Latin Kitchen Opens in Downtown State College

A new restaurant serving Indian favorites and Latin comfort foods is now open in downtown State College.

Indian Latin Kitchen held its grand opening on Wednesday at 404 E. Calder Way, the former home of Kokoro.

The menu includes a wide range of dishes from both cuisines, including Indian entrees like butter chicken, bhuna, curries, saag, biryani, makhani and masalas, as well as Latin items such as carne asada, tamales, empanadas, pollo asado and birria ramen, to name just a few.

Specialty beverages include smoothies, lassi, horchata and chai tea, while desserts feature gulab jamun, rasmalai and kheer.

Indian Latin Kitchen offers a lunch buffet for $15.95 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. It also has takeout and catering options.
